Jeep® Unveils New Pickup Truck at the LA Auto Show

The Los Angeles Auto Show has given our team at Brooklyn Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM a lot to be excited about. One of the new models that was introduced and has our Brooklyn auto sales team at the edge of their seats is the all-new Jeep Gladiator. This Jeep pickup truck is expected to hit the market in the spring of 2019.

After much rumor circulation regarding a new Jeep truck, it's finally becoming a reality. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is essentially a truck version of the Jeep Wrangler, and it is expected to feature a five-foot cargo bed. It’s been decades since Jeep last produced a pickup truck, and needless to say, Jeep fans everywhere are jumping for joy.

The new Jeep Gladiator is expected to come with a roaring 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine, which pumps out a robust 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft worth of torque. Depending on preference, a start/stop six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission is available. That said, later models of the Jeep Gladiator are rumored to offer a more fuel-efficient 3.0-liter EcoDiesel turbocharged V6 powertrain, which is worth 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.

When it comes to capability, the Jeep Gladiator boasts best-in-class ratings for both towing and payload: 7,650 lb and 1,600 lb, respectively. The Jeep Gladiator is getting the full Jeep off-road treatment too, which means it’ll receive the intuitive 4x4 systems that Jeep is famous for. A choice of a soft top or one of two hard tops is offered as well.

Even though we don't have the Jeep Gladiator on our lot just yet, you can experience the power and capability of a Jeep firsthand at our Jeep dealership serving Queens, NY. Our team at Brooklyn Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM is committed to our customers and is happy to help you find the vehicle that’s a perfect fit for you in our inventory of new and used cars for sale in NYC.
