$399.95 / hour labor rate as of August 2025. The going rate at independent shops is around $150-175 / hour in the same area. High end shops top out at $200 / hour. As soon as your car is in for a diagnostic, you're out $400 for 1 hour and diagnostics take longer. I was quoted around $10k in labor that another shop is handling for around $3k including parts. I took my Jeep here to get new tires,brakes and rotors and the salesman tried to extort me for more money and then when I got curious as to what he was trying to do he stopped. The worst part is that they agreed to an appointment and then called me and cancelled it suddenly. This place is abosolutely terrible. Their mechanics are utterly incompetent. They misdiagnosed my car and overcharged me $4,500 to replace a clutch that didn't require replacement. Their mechanic knowingly returned a car with defective repairs. instead of properly realigning the transmission, they caught two wiring harnesses between the transmission and the engine which resulted in mechanic only being able to install 2 of the 5 bolts needed to secure the transmission. 1 of those 2 bolts was cross threaded causing permanent damage. I'm very disappointed about this place, I went to this place because someone recommended, my husband and I got a car finance, was our first time and we felt betrayed how they disrespected our trusted to them, they add a warranty $6000 on our contract without telling us and informed we never authorized that. I been calling many time and left a message with the manager no one contact me, I need to speak with someone to fix this problem.. thanks

My first impression of Brooklyn Chrysler Dodge Jeep and RAM was a positive one. Had the worst and embarrassing experience in my life ! The most unprofessional dealership I have ever did business with !!! Once the credit form was submitted and signed and confirmed by me that I’m getting a truck they played a game that an higher offer of 5k came in 5 min and gave me a choice of bitting higher or walk out 👎👎👎 what a joke those people in dealership and xxxxxxxx business !!! NEVER EVER AGAIN AND WONT NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Traveled all the way out to Brooklyn to get my 2021 Dodge Durango R/T which they said they had on site but didn’t. Finally got the vehicle and traded in my 2018 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Asked is the minor damages and the tires will be an issue before hand. I was told it wasn’t an issue but a few days ago I received a call from collections about having to pay for all this. I went into This dealership to get my Jeep fixed. Yes they provided me all the information of what needed to be fixed on my vehicle. However, they tried to get me to spend more money. Do not take your vehicle here. Absolutely the rudest customer service. Had an encounter yesterday 10/27/21 with Patrick who works in the service department. This guy don't like you to ask him questions about your vehicle and when I insist on getting my answers, this guy response to me was "xxxxx come and get your vehicle we will not be working on it. Worst choice for repairs, they don't return calls, they don't explain why you need the repairs' they jack up services telling you that you need more than what you came for. told me two different diagnostics had to be run to determine issues with the car. ask to speak to anyone, you are then told to leave a message they will get back to you and they never do. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. you can't even rate the people you worked with because this list is outdated

Do not take your care here. Absolutely the rudest customer service. Had an appointment they tell me the car will be looked at in a week or 2 and when I tried asking why the advisor hung up the phone. A minute later the rep called me and said they are refusing to service the vehicle because I asked a simple question.

I much rather walk then buy a vehicle from this establishment. Be prepared to book an appointment that will not be honored in a timely fashion, be prepared to potentially catch COVID ( No one wears mask). Be prepared to repeat yourself several times within the negotiation process (2 days of salesman Rick asking for same info) They will tell you whatever they want to tell you to waste your time. I had a terrible experience after having the availability of a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe I wanted to test drive confirmed in the morning by Crystal and the appointment scheduled by Amanda, I drove over an hour to get to the dealership only to be told the vehicle had been previously sold and was in fact not available. They then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to buy a different vehicle from them after how unprofessional their team was. What a complete waste of 3 hours of my day and over $20 in gas and tolls.
