To make matters worse, Raphael was nowhere to be found. Instead of an apology, the General Manager immediately began upselling me into a different vehicle that was $25,000 over my specified budget. I was shocked to see a review from another customer, Rob, on April 24th, which describes an eerily similar bait-and-switch experience. It is clear that this is a pattern of behavior for this dealership. Beyond the sales tactics, the environment is incredibly unprofessional; the music in the showroom is turned up so loud that you can barely hear the person sitting across from you. Between the lack of communication, the wasted time, and the pushy sales tactics, I am beyond disappointed. I will never be returning to this dealership and I suggest others look elsewhere.

*BAIT AND SWITCH AND $5,000 IN ADDED FEES* I called ahead inquiring about a certified pre-owned 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude X that was listed on their website. I specifically asked whether the car was physically at the dealership or at another location where they store their vehicles, and I was told that it wasn’t on-site but could be brought over immediately. I told them I could be there in 15 minutes and they confirmed the vehicle would be there by then. When I got there, suddenly, the car wasn’t available because it was getting service done at another location. Mind you, I was assured 15 minutes earlier that the car was available and would be there when I arrived. It was a classic bait-and-switch, which showed dishonesty and sketchiness from the start. I then looked at 2 other certified pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokees that I saw on the website and took one for a test drive. Here is where it gets even worse. After sitting down and asking for a no-nonsense out-the-door price on the 2 other certified pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokees that I looked at, they came back with a $4,000 certification fee “because they pay to have it certified” and $1,000 in other fees, plus taxes. When you buy a certified pre-owned car, the cost associated with that is incorporated into the price that the car is listed at. But i guess thats only true when you deal with an honest dealership, not this place. $5,000 in added fees once they get you in the door is downright outrageous and unacceptable. How people give this place their business and pay these fees boggles my mind. Do not come here. Do not give them your money. Taking this straight to the AG, DMV, and BBB so these scammers don’t continue ripping people off.

So my son and I wasted 250+ miles and about 6 hours of time going to see a car that was at this stealership and supposedly ready to be bought. Took the ride out and was told the car was in for service but the salesman did get it from service to be looked at and also test driven. Cool, right? Well I thought so too. Test drive was OK, really hard to give it a food test drive in Brooklyn but we decided we seen and tested enough to move on. All seems to be going kinda smooth, right? Well, that's where xxxx turned. The salesman comes out with the pricing sheet. What was an almost $19000.00, ends up over $25000.00 out the door. They are charging a $4000.00 fee to call the car certified used. What a FRICKING joke!!! Needless to say, that was the end of that!!! If you are going to tack that BULLSH!T fee on, include it in the price of the car so you don't waste fricking peoples time and money to come look at vehicles that ultimately are put out of their expected price range!!! Unfortunately I was the fool because on the way there I was reading reviews of people saying the same thing but I gave the stealership the benefit of the doubt and went anyways. BIG mistake on my part. Do yourselves a favor and don't fall for the same xxxx and stay away from here!!! Totally fricking disgusted!!! I also read a review of someone that leased a vehicle and went to buy it out at the end and the stealership also had some BULLSH!T fee to buy it out. I had one of the worst dealership experiences ever at Brooklyn Jeep while trying to lease a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S. I initially spoke with Brenda, who seemed helpful and confident she could beat another lease deal I had which included all the fees already from a another dealership— as long as I provided proof. I double-checked with her twice to confirm that her quote included all taxes, registration, and fees, and she reassured me it did as I didn't want to waste time traveling into brooklyn traffic with my pregnant wife Based on her promises, my wife and I made the trip from New Jersey during rush hour traffic — over 2 hours and $40+ in tolls, gas, and miles — to come in on our only available day. When we arrived, we sat for 10 minutes waiting for her manager Moe, who clearly had no idea what we discussed. He asked me to explain the entire deal again, like he was hearing about it for the first time. Even worse, we were told the vehicle we wanted wasn’t even on the lot. Finally, Moe said he could "match" the deal but now excluded taxes, registration, and other fees — the very things I confirmed were included twice before coming in. Total bait and switch. Complete waste of time and money. I would strongly advise others to avoid Brooklyn Jeep if you're looking for transparency and honesty.

This place is absolutly awesome. At first I was hesitant to go to brooklyn for a car. I live on Long Island and we all know how that Belt Parkway can be. I spoke to Leah several times by text. After going from dealership to dealership I was exhausted with the games they were playing. She assured me we would work out a deal and I would go home with a car that day. I also had a trade in that the other dealers were beating me up on( Make sure when you trade your car in they give you trade in value not wholesale value) Several dealers tried that game on me, not Brooklyn Dodge. October 2023-Battery is replaced by another Jeep service dealer in long island as car has issues while on the road. January 2024-The car 4xe electrical has issues and car is dead. February2024-The car goes into service and I am told that the car needs to be serviced by Star Technicians from Jeep as the service department at Brooklyn Jeep cannot figure out what the problem is. March 2024-Car is in service and I am paying for the vehicle and no work from Service. March 2024-Lemon Law case is opened. Car is in service and I am paying for the vehicle and no work from Service. Steven Brigham, Service Manager, does not return calls. April 2024-Car is in service and I am paying for the vehicle and no work from Service. Steven Brigham, Service Manager, does not return calls. May 2024-Star Chrysler Tech is there and he cannot repair the problem. Car is in service and I am paying for the vehicle and no work from Service. September 2024-Car is in service and I am paying for the vehicle and no work from Service. Steven Brigham, Service Manager, does not return calls. I am waiting for the replacement car and there is no word and I closed litigation as asked. October 2024-After not hearing from the dealership, I am informed by Baum Croce, owners admin assistant, that replacement will not be done because I should wait for Stellantis to do a buy back. They frauded me into closing my legal case in the hopes that I would get a new car. Car is in service and I am paying for the vehicle and no work from Service. Steven Brigham, Service Manager, does not return calls. November 2024-I am informed that a Star Technician is working on the car but Steven Brigham, Service Manager, states that they cannot figure our what the issue is. December 2024-Apparently, they fixed the car and asked me to return to pick up the car. They tell me that Stellantis will offer me $15,000 for my troubles but my attorney informs me that I should not trust them because they will take the $15,000 from the final payment when the lemon law claim is resolved. I just hope that you read this before you buy a car from this dealership. I am not the first person that has had this issue with Brooklyn Jeep. way. The service department is the worst service department and I am not saying this instead that is what I have been told by three dealers around NYC. Here is a follow up of the issue with the 2023 Jeep Wrangler which has been under repair since August 2023 and has been sitting at Brooklyn Jeep from February 2024 with no repairs done on the car. Today, December 16, 2024, I received a call from a representative that the car has been repaired after 15 months and 12 months of sitting at the dealership. The dealer or service department did not offer any apology instead they stated that due to the inconvenience Chrysler would offer me $15,000.

They said that they want me to be happy and all that other nonsense sales talk. Some time later, they send me the written agreement and the terms are completely different. Heck, even the vehicle was different! They think that people are so desperate to get a new car that they would just agree to anything. Needless to say, I did not sign that agreement. After declining, another manager (Raphael) called me to try to convince me to sign the agreement. Obviously, I still did not do so. The most important factor to me is dealing with honest people. This is a trait sorely lacking here. P.S. I do not need any replies from the dealership with the likes of “Please contact us at your earliest convenience so we can discuss your experience in more detail.”

Right when I walked through the door, I was warmly greeted by Ali, a salesperson who genuinely wanted to help me find the best fit. This place is abosolutely terrible. Their mechanics are utterly incompetent. They misdiagnosed my car and overcharged me $4,500 to replace a clutch that didn't require replacement. Their mechanic knowingly returned a car with defective repairs. instead of properly realigning the transmission, they caught two wiring harnesses between the transmission and the engine which resulted in mechanic only being able to install 2 of the 5 bolts needed to secure the transmission. 1 of those 2 bolts was cross threaded causing permanent damage. Instead of trying to figure out why they couldn't get the mounting brackets to align they just retuned the car saying it was complete. The clutch hose blew less than 200 miles later and when I took it back to them they charged to replace the hose that should have been replaced in the first place. I had no choice but to pay together my car back. By the time I got it back, every single warning light/alert light on the dash consul was lit, the battery was dead and the drive was driving horribly once I replaced the battery due to the wire harnesses being crushed. When I took it to a real mechanic to have it fixed he couldn't believe how badly the work was performed and also confirmed that the original repair that I was extorted for was unnecessary. I have been trying for weeks to get the issue resolved but the Owner, Chris Erato, just keeps dodging calls and ignoring emails. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. Incompetent, unprofessional and and criminal. You're better off driving your vehicle off a cliff than bringing it here.

I was told no discount and that the car is 15% over over sticker, about $5k more. So they got me to travel there under the guise of a discount then add $5k?? I expressed my dismay and was told "ok we will do sticker." Wow, nice try to pick my pocket for $5k!! I walked at that point. Also beware they charge a $695 document fee so be prepared! 2. It gets worse. Fast forward, next day on the phone a deal was struck and i asked for a copy of the bill of sale to document the price that was emailed to me. The purchase included financing and i established the rate before I stopped in to close the deal. When i sat with the finance manager she quoted a monthly pmnt that was higher than i thought. That is when i caompared the emailed bill of sale to the final one where they added an additional $1500 doc fee. This was removed after i pushed back - honest mistake?? Doubt it!! We are up to $6500 - two shots on goal blocked! 3. After doing all the paperwork I got in the car and was pleasantly surprised with a full tank of gas and i happily drove off. Two days later i go to the gas station for the first time and the pump was cutting off after about 2 bucks worth of gas. So apparently there is some issue with the fuel sensor that tricks the gas pump into thinking the tank is full and clicking off prematurely. Here is my opinion here: They prepped the car for delivery, discovered the problem at the last minute but chose to consummate the deal and delivered the Jeep knowing there was an issue. This is a factory defect. It is not possible to fill the car with no problem and then have it fail on the very first trip to the gas station. I plan to go to another dealer to get this fixed - I'm done! I'll not mention the sales person as i believe he was just carrying out the philosophy of the management team.

My first impression of Brooklyn Chrysler Dodge Jeep and RAM was a positive one. Myself and my wife were greeted on arrival to our 10am appointment and sat down with a salesperson within a minute of walking in the door. The overall atmosphere of the sales room was positive and fun, and my wife and I felt comfortable and at ease. We then began to discuss with the salesperson our plan to buy out our Jeep Cherokee as our three-year lease had come to an end. Our salesperson assured us it was a quick and painless process, and we would be on our way home soon as the owners of our own car. After several hours and status post running our credit, getting the ball rolling with the DMV and taking the car into the attached mechanic shop our salesperson introduced us to the financial officer so we could discuss the numbers. To give the reader some background at this point I should state that our Cherokee buyout was $21,691.35. This number is essentially a nonnegotiable number guaranteed at the beginning of the car lease and available to the lessee should the lessee want to buy out the car. Anyway, back to our story, the financial officer was friendly and smooth. He assured us we would be in and out and he was here to make it all work for us. He also offered us a 100,000-mile, bumper-to-bumper warranty, for $3000. My wife and I expressed that we were open to that option and the financial officer stated that in that case it would cost us around $30,000 total for the car with everything included. That number seemed a little high to me and I asked the financial officer were the additional $5000 was coming from as I only expected to pay around $25,000 after taxes. He told me if we got the warranty, that, in addition to the taxes would add up to the number he was giving us. At that point I asked the financial officer if his total number came solely from what we discussed and that there were no other charges or fees we should be aware of. We were assured that yes, the total cost to us would be our lease buyout price + taxes + our extended warranty. At this point I am ashamed to admit I took the financial officer at his word, shook his hand, and walked out of his office. Sitting back with our salesperson and doing some mental math the numbers made less and less sense to me. I told our salesperson we were not likely to get the extended warranty despite being initially interested because the total cost of our buyout was simply more than expected. Our salesperson told us he would see what he could do and went to talk to the general manager and financial officer. He came back several minutes later and said that because we had been waiting for close to four hours at this point the dealership would knock $1000 off the price of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, it could be ours for $2000 and our total cost for the car would then be around $29,000. I was still confused why there was a several thousand-dollar discrepancy between what I expected to pay to buy out the lease and what I was being told it would cost. I requested to speak to the financial officer again to see exactly what the breakdown was for myself. My wife and I sat back down with the financial officer and asked to see for ourselves the numbers breakdown and where exactly the total cost came from. At this point something strange happened. The financial officer said our salesperson would help us figure out the numbers and walked out of his own office. Confused and intrigued I watched the salesperson walk in and sit behind the financial officer’s desk. He explained to us that since we had to pay the “recertification fee” of $2495 that, plus the $1999 warranty, plus taxes on the vehicle when combined with our buyout would come out to around $29,000. For a split second my wife and I looked at each other relieved, happy the numbers added up and we could proceed. Then it dawned on me that $2500 just got added to the bill out of nowhere and I asked the most obvious question. What recertification fee? Try as he might our salesperson could not answer this question in any way that made sense to us. He tried to tell me this was a required fee that raised the equity of my vehicle, and it meant that a 180-point inspection was going to be done, and now it was a “certified” preowned vehicle, he said it was a fee required by the state, he said it was jeeps policy that all leases that get bought out and financed be inspected. However, he could not explain it in a way that made sense to me. At this point our salesperson printed the contract, and there it was in black and white, a $2495 “Stellantis certification”. Our salesperson then spent the next half hour explaining to us that this was an absolute necessity, and the deal could not go forward without us paying this fee. Our salesperson pulled out all the stops when it comes to playing with emotions, to try and get us to sign that contract. He appealed to the fact that we had already spend six hours at the dealership and what was a “few thousand dollars anyway” but he was unable to provide an explanation as to what exactly the “Stellantis certification” was and why we needed to pay it. My wife and I got up to leave. I went to retrieve my car key (as my car was still in the mechanic shop next door) at this point the GM of the dealership approached me. He explained that the $2500 fee was a dealership fee that was charged by this dealership specifically and in return for paying it the dealership provided service for the vehicle. He stated that all dealerships charge some sort of fee for buying out a lease and this was there’s. The general manager clarified that this was a service they provided, and he apologized that their service was not what fit mine and my wife’s needs at this time. In summary, our experience at Brooklyn Chrysler Dodge Jeep and RAM concluded with us wasting six hours of time because the dealership tried to slip in a $2500 fee. Only as I was walking out the door was it clarified that the fee was in fact just that, a dealership fee. I also want to say that for the record I understand there is a cost to doing business. Should I have been told when I walked in the door it costs a few hundred dollars to buy out your lease today I probably would have paid it. But to waste six hours of time and try and slip in a few thousand-dollar fee is in my opinion complete theft and reinforces ever negative stereotype there is about shady car salesmen and dealerships. My only advice to a perspective car buyer is to read your contract very carefully. Don’t be afraid to ask were every one of your hard-earned dollars is going. Don’t let yourself be intimidated or talked down to. Demand to know why you have to pay vague “fees” and stand up for yourself.

Do not take your vehicle here. Absolutely the rudest customer service. Had an encounter yesterday 10/27/21 with Patrick who works in the service department. This guy don't like you to ask him questions about your vehicle and when I insist on getting my answers, this guy response to me was "xxxxx come and get your vehicle we will not be working on it. This guy think he owns Brooklyn Chrysler Dodge and he can speak to the customers as he see fit. I can bet I'm not the first customer he has done this to and he should not be out front dealing with customers. I was warned about this place but I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I was wrong. This dealership will never get a dollar from me.

Worst choice for repairs, they don't return calls, they don't explain why you need the repairs' they jack up services telling you that you need more than what you came for. told me two different diagnostics had to be run to determine issues with the car. ask to speak to anyone, you are then told to leave a message they will get back to you and they never do. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. you can't even rate the people you worked with because this list is outdated

A minute later the rep called me and said they are refusing to service the vehicle because I asked a simple question.

Be prepared to book an appointment that will not be honored in a timely fashion, be prepared to potentially catch COVID ( No one wears mask). Be prepared to repeat yourself several times within the negotiation process (2 days of salesman Rick asking for same info) They will tell you whatever they want to tell you to waste your time. You will not be able to get anyone on the phone besides from a receptionist. They will make promises to call you back and not do it. A sales associate Rick had me purchase car insurance on a car that never left the lot. Had to call the insurance company and cancel. General manager promised to get back to me first thing in the morning and never did. He honestly just didn't care no one did. Had to call for several hours and never got an update. Sadly enough a receptionist had to text me off a iPhone

I had a terrible experience after having the availability of a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe I wanted to test drive confirmed in the morning by Crystal and the appointment scheduled by Amanda, I drove over an hour to get to the dealership only to be told the vehicle had been previously sold and was in fact not available. They then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to buy a different vehicle from them after how unprofessional their team was. What a complete waste of 3 hours of my day and over $20 in gas and tolls.
